Art from the past two days

This is an accidentally dyed paper towel, which I decided to sketch a girl's profile on.

On the next sketch, I was aiming to get as much fluid movement as I could out of the pose.

And lastly, a sharpie polar bear. I draw too many bears!

Doodle TIME

I kind of lost all of my inspiration recently...so in my effort to retrieve it, I did some thumbnails in some strange color combos, since I normally use 'real' colors.

I figure skate, so a little homage to my favorite sport!

I don't know what's going on in the previous one.

BLUE IS MY FAVORITE COLOR, Can you tell? So beautiful~

Summer Sunset

Messing with some colors and a different shading technique than I normally use.

Cardinal Glare

Just a quick sketch!

Step-By-Step

I am currently working on the design for this little girl, of whom I am planing on doing a turn around and expression sheet for--possibly for my portfolio. In a previous post. I had a rather large selection of color choices for her, but in the end, I combined the first, third, and fourth ones, from the left. I picked a color sheme and decided to paint her to see what she'd look like in a sort of 3D way, since my goal with her design is to draw it as if I were going to model her (which I can't because I don't have any programs). Her face lost some 'stylization' in the painting process, but that will be fixed in later illustrations of her.

If you'd like to see the steps of how I did this painting, you can find it here.

Art

Here is some art that I've done very recently:

An unfinished watercolor painting for a friend,

A digital painting from the other week,

And a quick little speed paint from imagination. Originally it was going to be concept art for an idea I have, but it turned out as the above.

Thanks for viewing!
